I am ESL student I am relly in big truble please can anyone help me with clauses?

A noun is a thing, such as an object or a person. An adjective is a descriptive word that describes (or modifies) a noun. So "eyes" are a noun and "cold, yellow" are adjectives describing the noun "eyes." An adverb is a descriptive word that describes a verb or action word. But I am having trouble finding any adverbs in this paragraph and my English is excellent. Example: he quickly slipped his feet into the sandals-- "quickly" is the adverb describing "slipped."
