Delta airlines, do they really suck or am I just unlucky?

You just had a bad experience. Delta is average for US airlines. US Airways tends to lose more luggage. I have flown Delta many times since they are pretty much the only airline that flies out of Cincinnati. The flight experience is hit or miss. I have had good flights with them and I have also had poor experiences with them.
