Its an audio issue with my woofer and amp?

Did you make sure you didn't blow the fuse? Are you sure all the wires have good connection? There should be some screws to take the cover off the amp and see if any of the fuses in the amp are blown. I just remembered I had this same problem awhile ago. It ended up it was the cd player that wasn't working right to tell the amp to turn on and stay on.
