If you call yourself a political junkie?

shouldn't you know that any source (newsmax to Salon) can be valid as long as you know how to independently check facts for yourself? It's easy to say "Oh, I don't believe anything wnd/daily kos/MoveOn/Wikipedia/Fox News" says, but if the link states a fact, shouldn't you know how to Google that fact and find other sources to see if it's true?
