Examples of leaders who followed the laissez faire leadership..?

"Deregulation" is one example of laissez-faire. Deregulation of the financial sector began under Reagan. Deregulation of the banking industry occurred during Clinton. Many states have deregulated their power utilities. Most of this deregulation has led to disaster. Laissez-faire leadership is currently being exercised by those Republicans who claim that economic success will be achieved by letting the free market reign in the private sector without any government interference. An offshoot of that ridiculous (in my opinion) philosophy is their apparent willingness to let this country default on its debt. You want to see laissez-faire leadership in action?
